Cohabitation agreement
Cohabitation agreement
When a cohabitation partnership ends, the parties require a settlement of the possessions to apportion the combined assets. The cohabitation possessions are the joint property and assets, if those assets have been purchased for joint use. Other possessions that should not be regarded as joint should not be included in the settlement.
The parties can decide on their own how the property should be divided if the cohabitation should end. This is done through a cohabitation agreement. We can assist in making such a contract.
